Ray does not do demos of how to write a prompt. He connects AI to the way your business already runs, and he works with a limited number of clients each quarter so the implementation stays hands-on.

The spark came in 2017. Ray was working in real estate when he came across the work of Robert F. Smith and saw what technology could make possible, and he decided to pivot. He enrolled at Nashville Software School in 2019 and graduated in 2020, in the middle of the pandemic.
He has worked in tech ever since, through several rounds of layoffs, and he kept building. In 2023 he started teaching in the community: coding workshops for kids in schools, and work alongside other nonprofits. He also teaches AI to licensed real estate agents.
It came full circle on September 30, 2025, when Ray met Mr. Smith face to face and thanked him for introducing him to technology. In March 2027 his nonprofit, Black Tech Mafia, launches the BTM AI Youth Bootcamp, a free program for Nashville high school juniors and seniors.
